Your new company
Your new company is a leading global Pharmaceutical company who specialise in the manufacturing of and supply of high potency Pharmaceuticals. You will be based in their state of the art headquarters in Waterford. This company is currently under major expansion plans and this opportunity is a result of team expansion.

Your new role
In your new role you will assist in the introduction of methods, practices and procedures to both QC and production and helping to ensure aseptic and sterile assurance principles are implemented and maintained. You will have a strong technical knowledge of Microbiology methods and applications. You will assist with introduction and validation of all Microbiology methods in house including Environmental Monitoring, Identifications, Growth Promotion, Sterility, Endotoxin and Biological Indicators. You will perform laboratory sampling and testing and investigate all out of specifications. You will also provide technical knowledge and guidance on aseptic assurance, sterility assurance and trending as applicable to the production environment for the duration of the project.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a minimum of Degree level in Microbiology or Biological Sciences. You will need to have at least 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a Microbiology role. You will need to demonstrate interest in the application of Microbiology principals to industry settings. You will also need to be a good team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
