Your new role
In your new Buyer role you will effectively plan and coordinate orders of raw material items to support manufacturing plants in line with agreed production plan. You will also release PO's, manage supplier relationships and negotiate and implement supply agreement. Carry out regular business reviews, prepare RFQ's and work with other departments on cross functional NPI projects. You will ensure all procedures are in line with GMP guidelines and support the purchasing manager in meeting purchasing KPIs.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience within the medical device industry. Preferably you will be CIPS/IIPMM qualified. ERP knowledge and strong IT skills are essential, while Oracle experience in preferred.
