Your new company is a successful waste and recycling management company based in Galway.
Due to an expanding department they require a Transport Compliance Administrator to join their team.
Your new role
Your new role is within the Transport Department. Your main responsibilities are the following :
- You will be in charge of the OPTAC system.
- Monitoring Drivers hours and rest periods and making sure they are recorded accurately and are compliant with rules and regulations.
- Responsible for training staff and drivers on driver’s hours and the use of digital tachographs and cards.
- Training of transport staff and others on using the OPTAC Compliance software system. This will require participation in the organising and delivery of Driver’s Hours training courses.
- Maintenance of all essential Data on Asset Minder and running reports on same and reporting to the Transport Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous Transport exposure with working knowledge of OPTAC system and Asset Minder. You will also be proficient in Excel (Formulas and Pivot Tables). You will have a degree in Transport Management or Administration.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary of €30,000 per year. There is free parking on site and you will work in an expanding department with a great team environment.
