HVAC Mobile Technician

Mechanical HVAC Mobile technician required by facilities management company for a pharma site for Sligo/Mayo

Your new company
Our client is a facilities management company. They are currently managing several contracts within the pharma / medical devices sector in the Connacht region. As a result of continued growth, they are now seeking a HVAC Mobile Technician / Engineer for the Sligo/Mayo region. You will ideally have worked in facilities and have a mechanical / building services / energy background and have had some exposure to Validation in Pharma sites.

Your new role

Experience in the operation, repair, maintain, and adjust boilers, turbines, pumps, compressors, water lines, steam lines, valves, and all related systems and equipment. Strong trouble-shooting and problem solving skills. Ability to maintain detailed and complete records of maintenance, repair, and testing activities.
You will have a HVAC background and experience working in a pharma environment.
Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualifications.
You will provide assistance for engineering activities related to the site products and facilities, utilities, equipment.
Execute (protocol generation, execution, and final package preparation) activities related to the implementation of process, cleaning, steaming and facilities, utilities, equipment changes while exercising judgement within broadly defined procedures and practices to establish approval criteria, and identify and implement solutions Establish Site Policies, through development, generation and implementation of validation master plans, guideline documents and SOP’s
Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for products developed or manufactured by the client, engineering techniques/approaches and systems utilized on site Identify and implement improvements to the QA systems
Participation in the change control program for modifications to qualified systems
Coordinate activities involving cross-functional, multi-departmental teams including: Manufacturing, Process Sciences, Process Development, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and others

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a pharmaceutical environment is essential
A knowledge of maintenance best practice systems
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
Strong technical ability and a desire to learn
Excellent communication skills with strong problem solving skills
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
