Your new company
Your new company is a market leading bank with over 200 locations across the country, including numerous branches and head office locations. Your team is based in the organisation’s new state-of- the-art head office, based in South Dublin with excellent public transport links including a Luas on the doorstep.

Your new role
Your new job is working as a senior business analyst working on various banking projects. You will be working with business sponsors and IT and programme/project teams to drive the analysis of the regulatory, mandatory and strategic changes within different area of the business. You will be leading in stakeholder workshops, investigating model business functions, processes, information flows and data structures. You will be responsible for providing high quality business requirement documents in standardised format. You will conduct meetings, provide presentation material and stakeholder updates to the required forums. You will confidently engage with senior stakeholders and work with them through requirements gathering and solutions design. You will engage with users and test teams to ensure a fully functional working solution. You will work with the business and IT teams to identify possible risks and understand their potential impacts and devise appropriate mitigates.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience working as a Business Analyst within a financial organisation, ideally a retail banking environment. Candidates with experience in change projects will find this to be a distinct advantage. You will need to have excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with some experience in remotely managing stakeholders’ expectations. Knowledge and practical experience of Agile-style development would be advantageous.

If successful you will begin a 6-month initial assignment through Hays within a leading Irish bank. You will receive a competitive daily and will be paid on a weekly basis by Hays. You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
