Health & Safety Officer Required - Dublin Based - Salary DOE

Once a project is fully understood they resource it with the most experienced Project Manager and team to ensure that it is executed with the minimum of fuss and in accordance with agreed timelines and budget. Flexible which means that they have extensive experience in commercial, public sector and residential developments. Taking projects all the way through from inception to build and beyond with our wholly owned Facility Management Company.

Your new role
As a Health & Safety Officer you will be reporting and assisting the Health & Safety Manager on site. Your responsibilities and requirements will include; assisting those in charge of liaising with the contractors on site and monitoring all aspects of their work activities. Liaising with clients as required on safety issues. Ensuring that the company's safety role is carried out to the highest standard thus delivering projects in a safe manner. Implementing the company's safety policy and procedures. Supporting the company's site team. Experience in safety management on large construction sites. Strong knowledge of Safety, Health & Welfare legislation, codes and standards. Excellent verbal and written communications ability. Highly motivated with a strong belief in the value of safety. Ability to interact with senior management on safety related issues.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need 3+ years post graduate, construction industry experience within the Irish market. A recognised third level qualification will be required and an ability to deal with clients to ensure procedures are being followed.
