Banking Customer Adviser - Swords - Initial 12 Month contract

Your new company
One of Ireland’s largest financial companies with over 200 locations Nationwide who provide a diverse range of services to banking, financial and related services are currently seeking a Banking Customer Adviser to work in their contact centre in Swords.

Your new role
In your new role you will be working alongside a friendly and welcoming team. The environment will be busy and fast paced and you will be aiming to hit monthly achievable targets in order for all goals to be met. The first 7 weeks of the role consist of training to learn about products such as home, car & life insurance, loans, investments and current accounts. You will also get trained in the company’s systems. After the training your role will consist of taking inbound phone calls, this will give you the chance to show your expert knowledge on all of the products while ensuring you are providing excellent customer service. You will also be involved in outbound customer campaigns from time to time, which will be targeted calls to prospective customers.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need previous experience working within banking. You will need to passionate about helping customers achieve their goals and you will need to have experience working in a customer service role. You will need to meet the bank’s minimum education requirements of 5 passes in Leaving Certificate to include English and Maths, an Honours degree (level 8) or a full QFA with up to date CPD hours. To carry out this role, you will need to be APA qualified in Loans & Regulations and an additional APA in another module is desired on top of that. You will need to be target and process driven as well as having an eagerness to learn daily. You will need to be prepared to work occasional weekend shifts, as you will be working on an 8-week shift rotation.

You will be paid on a weekly basis by Hays, and will receive a shift allowance on top of your standard hourly rate.
