Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Director, the role involves the management of day to day financial transactions, along with keeping track of all items of revenue & expenditure, financial reporting, and inputs required for all commercial decisions on behalf of the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of company financial statements and analysing financial performance.
  • Provide support to Operations, through information analyses (e.g. current processes, actual performance vs. budget)
  • Preparation of operational data and analyses.
  • Monitor Credit Control, AR, AP and bookkeeping functions in the finance department to ensure they remain current and tie in with expectations.
  • Proactive management of pricing changes and margins in a fast-moving environment.
  • Develop an understanding and analysis of the price inputs for assistance in tender process.
  • Ensure supplier payments are completed in line with business credit terms.
  • Maintain monthly/annual accounts for multiple companies.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be a Qualified Accountant, ACA Chartered, CPA, ACCA, CIMA with solid excel experience. Ideally you will have industry experience, however, you will be considered if you are coming directly from Practice.

Your ability to build strong partnerships and relations both in Ireland but also with Corporate is vital to be successful in this position.
