Junior Project Engineer (Sweden)

Junior Project Engineer required to work in Sweden on a large windfarm project. Civil or Electrical experience

Your new company
Leading utility solutions provider involved in the Power, Water, Telecom & Energy sectors. They are now seeking to expand their team and as a result are recruiting for a Junior Project Engineer.

Your new role
You will begin your career with by joining a multi-disciplinary team working on a wind-farm project in Sweden, reporting directly into the Senior Manager on site. Your duties will include record management, checking drawings and calculations, etc. You will also be involved in ensuring quality and safety standards are met on site while communicating with stakeholders and sub-contractors.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, a relevant qualification in Civil or Electrical Engineering is required.
Previous experience working with a main contractor in Ireland is essential
The ideal candidate for this position will be eager to progress in their career, have excellent communication skills, with a willingness to learn and exceptional data management and IT skills.
  • An electrical or civil qualification.
  • 2 years’ plus experience in engineering.
  • Knowledge of MV/HV electrical work would be beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Structured, competent, capable of prioritising workloads.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with AutoCad or similar.
  • Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office packages, including document management.
  • Ability to “roll the sleeves up” and work independently.
