Senior Services Manager contract (9 - 12 Months), Homeless Charity, Dublin City. €50K +

Your new company

An international charity whose goal is to fight social inequality and make peoples lives better. They have various centres across Dublin servicing vulnerable people of all ages in homelessness, addiction and poverty. Highly regarded in the work they do, they employ over 200 people in the Republic of Ireland and are now seeking a senior level candidate to join their team.
You will be based in the City centre, widely accessible by various public transport options. The organisation hopes to expand their services and envisage exciting projects coming up over the next few years.

Your new role

This is a 9 – 12 Month contract position managing a centre that provides shelter and homeless services. The salary for this role is dependent on your level of experience but will start at €50,000. As the Service Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the budgeting, leading a team of professional support staff, and build/maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring the smooth-running of operations and the highest standards of service delivery.

There may be opportunity for project involvement further into the contract. You will report into the regional manager and the assistant regional manager and together work to development of the service in line with best practice and in partnership with clients. The position has come about due to the current manager leaving for a different industry, and although the role will eventually be a permanent one, currently they need someone of a senior level to parachute into this position, capable of meeting the immediate demands.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have experience as a manager within the area of service management and delivery - in the charitable sector. It is essential that you are a strategic thinker with strong finance and administrative skills as well as a comfortable leader. You must have enough experience to be able jump into this role and identify the needs and areas of strong performance. You may be a professional contractor who has the skill of adaptability to requirement.

You must have knowledge of legislation relating to homelessness, employment, health and safety and safeguarding. Also funding streams and understanding of contractual performance requirements
