Your new role
In your new role as a Data Analyst you will be involved in the effective operation of activities within the team to ensure the delivery of the processes supporting critical business services with a prime focus on services supporting the organisations Mission Critical Activities. Devises methods and procedures for collecting, analysing and monitoring data to develop key performance indicators. A good working understanding of data structures, analytics and reporting. Knowledge of day-to-day functional operation of IT Service Management processes. Design, track and produce the supporting KPIs and metrics to support positions and conclusions. Liaises with relevant service delivery teams, third party vendors, business representatives where necessary. Collate and compile technical information relating to IT Service performance. Continuously review documentation to ensure it is current, fit for purpose and published via the relevant online documentation systems and complies with ISO20000 standards. Proven track record of facilitating work groups

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in your new role as a Data Analyst, you will have a strong data analytical capability in Service Management toolsets, including but not limited to Splunk IT Operations, Remedy ITSM, PowerBI, SQL & Excel. An understanding of ITIL processes, with ITIL foundation qualification would be advantageous. Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience working in an IT role with experience working within small and large teams and across a wide range of technologies
