Accounts Assistant - Limerick - Hybrid working - Contract

You will be joining a leading organisation in the Mid-West region on an initial temporary basis, with potential view to permanency as an Accounts Assistant. You will report into the Finance Manager and will receive a competitive hourly rate. This role will be onsite for the initial training period however following that a hybrid working model of 3 days onsite and two days from home is on offer. In addition, the working hours are 8:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday with an early finish of 15:30 on Friday.

Your new role
In your new role as Accounts Assistant some of your duties will include processing high volume invoices, payment runs, drafting sales invoices and matching payments. You will also be supporting the Accounts Payable team in delivering their weekly business objectives & targets and helping with the completion of month end task lists to strict deadlines. This is a great opportunity to further develop your skillset in a supportive organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be an organised and enthusiastic individual with 1-2 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable/Accounts Assistant/Accounts Administration environment. For this role excellent communication skills and attention to detail would be necessary. Previous experience with problem solving such as drawing conclusions and developing recommendations along with strong Microsoft Excel skills would be advantageous.
