Leading state agency with a national remit require an experienced Auditor/Internal Auditor to join their growing team

Reporting to the Audit & Compliance Manager, working as part of a busy team. This role will involve conducting risk audits, verification checks and governance assessments, whilst auditing a range of service providers to ensure that key conditions are complied with.

Key Tasks will include:
Verifying qualitative and financial data to include financial statements
Evaluating accounting systems
Variance analysis reporting
Internal controls analysis
Conducting value for money and risk based audits
Conducting governance assessments
Preparing reports for management on audit findings
Internal & external stakeholder management

Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA,CPA) with strong Internal or External audit experience and possess good report writing, analysis and inter-personal skills. Strong Excel skills also required

Salary €50K to €60K (depending on experience)
Benefits include 26 days annual leave, defined contribution pension, subsidised healthcare, flexi-time, you will be based in their Dublin city centre offices when they return to office based work

Initially a 12-month fixed term contract, there is a good chance that this will be extended or it may lead to a permanent role
