Depositor Protection Team Manager – 12 Month Assignment – Dublin

My client is a leading global bank, conducting business in more than 160 countries and jurisdictions. Providing their client’s, a broad range of financial products and services, they are located in heart of Dublin. This role in office initially, with the intention to return to a hybrid model once full training has been completed.
Your new role
Managing the oversight of the DP Team including ORC processes relating to regulatory reporting submissions, you’ll co-ordinate the SCV data quality management process with Product Owners. Producing quality MI reporting to communicate progress and plans to eliminate data quality exceptions, you’ll co-ordinate monthly and quarterly SCV validation cycles, to support the regulatory submission process. You’ll respond to regulatory queries or ad hoc requests for SCV reporting, handle requests/ queries from internal Customers. While maintaining standard operating procedures, in line with the banks’ standards, you will partner with technology/ production support on system issues, performing UAT as part of a monthly sprint to enhance the SCV reporting engine. People management responsibilities including recruitment, onboarding, coaching and performance management for the team, you’ll ensure day to day regulatory compliance for Depositor Protection through continuous review and enhancement of processes, consideration for both detective and preventative control measures. While developing the Quality Assurance function for DP across all entities and business lines, you’ll identify of areas for improving existing regulatory reporting processes and controls, supporting the Change programme, Technology partners and other relevant stakeholders to deliver technology solutions for manual processes, producing MI that tracks effective change and share with relevant stakeholders and governance forums.
What you'll need to succeed
With experience in Securities & Banking Operations, or in a Control or Regulatory/Compliance function you have strong product knowledge and a working understanding of systems and product flows. You work with data to perform analysis and summaries for management information would be advantageous, interrogating systems to investigate and resolve control exceptions would be valuable. You have experience of the User Acceptance Testing or working with technology teams would be valuable & knowledge of Client Asset or Depositor Protection rules and regulations would be beneficial
