Your new company
You will work in a well known small-medium sized hospitality company with operations across Ireland and Northern Ireland. You will work in a small close knit office with 2 people in finance. It is an exciting time to join the company as they are expanding their operations later in the year. This role will be a 15 month maternity contract role.
Your new role
This will be a very broad role managing the day to day finance function and reporting directly to Owners/Board of Directors. You will manage one accounts assistant and your duties will include:
What you'll need to succeed
- Monthly management accounts and board reports
- Quarterly cash-flow forecasts.
- Managing the audit process and working with external auditors and tax advisers
- VAT and payroll taxes, including compliance with payment deadlines both ROI & UK
- Review and sign off of payroll processed by outsourced provider.
- Ad-hoc task and getting more involved in operations/strategy
You will need to be a qualified accountant with at least 2 years in a similar Finance Manager/Financial Controller role. Ideally you will be coming from an SME background and have experience working in a small team environment. Strong communication and confident working with senior leaders.
