Your new role
The First Line Assurance team within Group Resilience is a dynamic and highly motivated team which strives to make a real difference to first line risk culture and drive better outcomes for their customers, staff and business. The Assurance team within Group Resilience provides independent audit and control assurance on the quality and effectiveness of the risk environment under the remit of the Chief Operations Officer ,
Your Key responsibilities of the role are to execute assurance reviews from beginning to end including developing the terms of reference (scope), test plan, test plans, execution of testing, summary of issues and final reports , Issue assurance testing to validate that remedial actions have been implemented effectively , Assist in the development of first line assurance plans across the COO area and Group for Third Party Management using a risk based methodology , Actively build relationships including other assurance functions, to ensure you are keep abreast of best practices and assurance developments throughout and be able to Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of applicable risk frameworks and methodologies.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an audit / risk / assurance / quality assurance or investigative role within Financial Services is preferable, will have the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines and have a high levels of initiative and excellent attention to detail.
Also must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate with confidence and impact.
and have a great mind-set and pro-active attitude towards customers and employees expect of a bank.
