Your new employer is a leading Irish Law firm, with multiple offices across Ireland. They specialise in a number of practice areas across multiple industries. They now require a Legal Secretary to join their expanding team on a part-time permanent basis.
Your new role As the Legal Secretary you provide secretarial support to the Commercial Litigation Department of our Cork office, ensure files are managed in an efficient and effective way and collaborate with team members to create a supportive and engaging working environment. These duties including but limited to opening, closing and maintaining files, document management, typing and amending documents, photocopying and answering the phone. You will be responsible for court administration including preparing briefs and liaising with Counsel. You will work across internal databases and produce reports as required.
What you'll need to succeed You will have 2-3 years experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Commercial Litigation. You will have the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple activities. You will have knowledge of court systems. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
