Your new role
As maintenance technician you will be responsible for providing maintenance of the machines and equipment according to the maintenance plan and the management of the building and accessories, ensuring there are spare parts for all machines and recording of downtime. Your role will be focused on supporting and achieving the EHS and ISO goals of your new company.
Your role’s duties will entail supporting the systems to ISO standards and Certification, prepare maintenance plans, process machine downtime and coordinate and perform the maintenance and repair of machinery to minimise downtime, identify issues and create corrective action plans, carry out audits to check TPM usage and provide TPM training to employees. You will look after the water treatment unit to ensure safety standards are maintained and ensure its operation is maximising the usage of water recycling and at optimum consumption of energy and chemicals.
General duties include observing all policies and regulations relating to health and safety and quality and protection of the environment, keeping the working place and all equipment in order, taking an active approach towards broadening your experience and knowledge and business process improvement and partnership building.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a maintenance and facility, orientation in technique requirements for maintenance, good computer literacy for MS suite and an advanced level of English communication.
