Your new team is within an HR Technology is a group that develop and manage the various applications in use by over 220,000 employees in 160 countries from payroll, performance management, intranet and learning systems. Company's users today expect and demand seamless, fluid and beautiful user experiences and this is crucial for technology to deliver as they continue to integrate and consolidate multiple applications.
Your new role
This position is within the HR Tech Social team, with members based primarily in Dublin as well as the UK, North America and India. The team work in an agile software development environment and enjoy a very positive and close working relationship with the internal HR teams.
Your role purpose will be to expand the platform capabilities and reach of internal social network. Develop new features and integrate with enterprise applications to build engagement, and drive adoption of the platform. You will also be expected to assist in the migration from Jive to SharePoint Online.
Key responsibilities will include acting as an extended member of the team to support office 365 migration activities, liaising directly with group owners on 1:1 basis to build SPO sites migrated from Jive group and suggesting a design structure, building the new homepage and navigating elements and organizing content. You will also be responsible for answering SharePoint 'How Do I' questions and working closely with development team to troubleshoot issues and bugs. You will also be working within an agile environment and globally dispersed team.
What you'll need to succeed This position requires you to have at least 2 years' experience of SharePoint Online or 2019, with hands on experience in guiding end user on how to leverage SharePoint for business needs. Passion and experience designing simple, intuitive SharePoint sites is well sought after. You will also need general knowledge of 365 suite, ideally experience with Jive and sound Technical experience and communication skills. You will have to be detail-oriented, flexible to work in a fast-moving agile environment and have 3rd level qualification in Business, Media, Design or Computer Science or equivalent disciplines.
