Connections Brand Manager

Your new company

One of Ireland's leading retail banks are searching for a highly analytical connections brand manager to design and oversee the media and connection plans. The team are based in the South of Dublin and currently work on a hybrid basis.
This company are looking for someone to fill a 12-month maternity leave contract and your main goal will be to enhance their campaigns in creating world-class strategies and connection plans that maximise customer’s state of mind and heart while helping fill the sales funnel.

Your new role

You will work as part of the Connections team that is focused on delivering all paid and owned media for the company. You will take responsibility for a strategic led media plan that utilises a broad range of tools to build long term brand equity whilst balancing short-term commercial objectives.
  • You will optimise the media mix across a range of tools, including but not limited to, traditional broad reach media, display, social media, video and partnerships.
  • You'll work with the media & advertising agencies, with the aim of maximising the impact of advertising campaigns through a range of media platforms.
  • You will use research & insight to help inform decision making, and to ensure that campaigns reach their target audiences as effectively as possible.
  • You will play an important role in delivering commercial objectives for this Large Retail Bank.

What you'll need to succeed

Your daily tasks involve managing and delivering their media plans.

Track all performance marketing plans by concept and channel, closely monitoring shifts in performance against budget, identifying opportunities and remedial actions.

You will keep abreast of media trends and always looking for the opportunity to bring innovation and new media experiences to the company

- Therefore the ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Experienced in the Irish media landscape and can provide input and recommendations to deliver best in class media plans and audits
  • Able to analyse and assess media information and make recommendations to develop connection moments that are customer focused.
  • The ability to actively share ideas and collaborate with colleagues and agency partners to ensure the strategic objectives are being delivered.
  • Good communication skills to ensure the effectiveness of key connection moments, gaining commitment from stakeholders while demonstrating key proof points from the bank to customers in the correct media formats.
  • A champion a Customer First culture in support of their purpose, strategic ambition, and brand values, by ensuring processes and procedures consistently promote good outcomes for all our customers

Minimum Criteria to apply:

1. You must have 4+ years’ experience in a media agency or client side with experience managing media plans.
2. Have strong attention to detail and consistent approach to execution & delivery.
3. Knowledge & experience of measuring campaigns and communicating effectiveness.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Highly organised with the ability to plan effectively.

This role is a maternity leave cover however may lead to further opportunities within the company and also an opportunity to build connections within your market.
Just one weeks notice is required should you need to resign as you will be working on a contract basis.
You will be paid weekly on an competitive hourly rate and your contract will be 37 hour contract on a Monday to Friday basis.
