Senior HR Generalist | Maynooth | Permanent

Your new company

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Generalist / HR Manager to join an international leading supplier of IT solutions with plans of rapid growth this year. This is a permanent role based in Maynooth.


Your new role

This is a newly created role and you will report to the General Manager onsite and work closely with the international HR team.

The main responsibilities of the role:

  • Assist and provide HR advice to employees and managers throughout all stages of the employee life cycle.
  • Provide guidance to managers on setting performance expectations and conducting performance reviews. Work closely with people managers to address performance issues and develop improvement plans.
  • Ensure all applicable legal requirements are met.
  • Close cooperation with our HR team in Germany to ensure appropriate employee documentation, changes to employees' status, pay and benefits, annual performance appraisal process, employee relations investigations, and employee discipline and grievance, to maintain compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.
  • Prepare monthly HR metrics relating to areas of responsibility to management and our headquarters in Germany.
  • Conduct all aspects of the role with appropriate level of confidentiality and sensitivity to employee and organizational data.
  • Talent Acquisition – Co-ordination of end-to-end recruitment activity including contract management, onboarding and administration. Partner closely with business leaders to determine current and projected workforce needs to drive HR recruiting solutions locally.
  • Receive, translate, and apply global people strategies to local application, partnering with business leaders to assure successful execution; ensuring employee engagement and retention through the embedding of Company values, relevant initiatives and planning.
  • General HR administration, e.g. employee queries, filing and correspondence.
  • Act as contact person and interface to local outsourced payroll service.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in human resources roles.
  • Expertise in Irish employment law.
  • Good organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with hiring managers and team members.
  • Strong decision-making skills with ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications and influencing abilities, with conflict resolution experience.
  • Availability for occasional business travel to our headquarters in Germany.

What you'll get in return

A competitive salary of €55,000 - €70,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits is on offer. The company also operates a hybrid working pattern.
