Your new company

Our Client operates an Accountancy Practice in Galway East situated 25 minutes from Galway City Centre. This practice provides Accountancy and Bookkeeping services as well as Consultancy, Tax Planning and Audit and Assurance services. They work with a variety of clients including larger corporations, SME's and sole traders. This role presents a great opportunity for a driven and career-focused individual to join the team. This role will be fully office based initially with the potential for 1 day working from home after this period

Your new role

Over time you will have full management of a portfolio of clients, mainly SME's
Preparation of accounts and financial statements
Managing relationships with your own clients
Overseeing tax compliance, VAT returns, Payroll compliance, preparing Income tax returns and corporation tax returns
Preperation of Accounts to Trial balance
Managing Account files
Audit preperation with the wider Finance team

What you'll need to succeed

Part Qualified Accountant - ideally ACCA
Bachelors degree (ideally)
At least two years experience ideally working in a practice setting
Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge
It is highly desirable to have experience of the following Accounting software; Quickbooks, Xero, Surf etc
Strong written communications skills are essential
Ambitious and desire to develop a career in practice
Full requirements to work in Ireland

Excellent salary: €40,000-50,000
