Our client is a company that provides water access solutions for the marine industry. It designs, manufactures and installs pontoons and concrete breakwaters for various purposes, such as leisure marinas, commercial ports, super yacht berths and crew transfer vessels. They have offices based in Offaly and have completed projects in many countries around the world.

Your new role

As an experienced Civil Engineer, you will work in the Midlands on their manufacturing site as a member of their design team. Their site is based in Offaly and may suit you if you're living in Tipperary, Athlone or East Galway. You will ideally have 3–5 years post graduate experience in Project Management and Civil Engineering. You will be working on long term projects from contract/design stage through to manufacturing/insitu build and installation. Therefore, engineering contract knowledge and experience would be essential. Strong customer relationships and project management skills are required as the successful candidate will be a main point of contact for customers throughout the project life cycle. You will be reporting directly to the Projects Senior Manager. This is an opportunity to join a progressive company in continued growth.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have previous experience working in an engineering consultancy or contractor. A degree in Civil Engineering is preferred however similar disciplines will be considered. CAD/Solidworks or similar is necessary. Candidates should be self-motivated but also able to work as part of a team and should have excellent communication skills. Site visits are required. Therefore, a full clean licence is needed, but a company pool car is available for these visits.
