Electrical & Mechanical Supervisors are required in Galway to work on large pharma construction sites.

A top tier contractor that is working on delivering a complex pharma/med devices project in the Galway region is currently seeking an ambitious and driven Electrical Supervisor and Mechanical Supervisor that is keen to progress through the ranks and further their career in a company known for their career progression opportunities.
This client has a project pipeline full for several years to come in the west region, making this a fantastic opportunity for long-term opportunities with a market leader. The ideal candidate will come from an electrical / mechanical background and have experience managing large & complex electrical & mechanical projects in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of all electrical / mechanical systems in pharma/medical devices/data centres/industrial/health care/critical settings
  • Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
  • Supervision of all electrical / mechanical systems on site
  • Report to the Project Manager
  • Make sure the labour requirements are met and maintained as per project program requirements.
  • Oversee the quality of the works to ensure it is maintained at a high level.
  • Ensure that the subcontractors are working as efficiently as possible.
  • Ensure that all variations and delays are notified to the line manager.
  • Supervise to make sure all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications.
  • Health & Safety issues on site and ensuring that all subcontractors work safely.
Key Requirements:
  • 7 years’ experience of building services co-ordination.
  • Previous Main Contractor experience is preferred, ideally project experience in Med-tech, Pharma, Industrial, Datacentre.
  • Relevant experience on pharma / med devices projects is beneficial.
  • Can be degree qualified or trade background.
  • Hard-working attitude and career-driven personality
