Senior accounts assistant
Are you looking for a new opportunity and live close to the West side of Limerick city? Currently, we are sourcing for a client in the Limerick area to add another team member to their growing finance team. The ideal applicant will have an accounts assistant/payroll background within a manufacturing environment, but the client is open to individuals from various organisational backgrounds.
Your new role
- Preparing payroll for weekly paid employees and answering payroll queries as they arise.
- Supporting HR with questions relating to payroll (pension, bonus, clocking system)
- Preparation of weekly overtime & other payroll related reports as required.
- Supplier invoices on a monthly basis
- Reconciliation of AP
- Complete month end close for payables ledger & booking of standard journals.
- Resolve account queries
- Completion of monthly Intrastat, Vies, P30 & VAT returns.
- Preparation of Balance Sheet Control Accounts.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Quality and EHS policies and procedures are always adhered to
Your Experience
- Ideally you will have experience working on a weekly payroll with a headcount of 100+
- You’ll have worked within a busy finance team and enjoy having a varied role
- SAP experience is a distinct advantage but not necessary
- ATI qualification and or IPASS
