• Oversee &/or develop basis of design and develop design at each of the project design stages.
• Review and approve design layouts, schematics and calculations within their own discipline.
• Complete budgets in your own discipline for any project.
• Complete value engineering in your own discipline on any project.
• Assess received variations from contractors and make payment recommendations on any project.
• Negotiate final account on any projects with contractors.
• Complete cost reports.
• Interim quality checks.
• Attend design team meeting/project team meeting/M&E coordination meetings, ensure actions are closed in either discipline.
• Review and interpret IES reports, Part L, and Daylight and sunlight studies and make recommendations for improvement.
• Complete payment recommendations in their own discipline.

• Understands the company processes and implements and implements on own projects in good time. Addresses non-conformances within project timescales.
• Understands the company and processes and has the ability to explain them for the benefit of others understanding and use.
• Able to plan and communicate efficiently and effectively and seek support and guidance when necessary.
• Be able to react in an effective manner in demanding situations.
