Tax Accounting Internship - Limerick City - Full Study Support - Recent Accounting/Law degree graduate

Our client has been in operation for more than 50 years. The Practice has over 40 offices nationwide and employs more than 400 people. The practice in Limerick city is multidisciplined. The 3 areas of focus include the Tax department, Financial services and Accountancy. The Tax team has several senior individuals working on it and the successful tax trainee candidate will be working closely with these individuals.
This client is unique in the way that it is different to your typical Accounting practice. They focus on success planning (inheritance), assisting companies in setting up, VAT capital returns and farm transfers. It is guaranteed the successful trainee will achieve excellent exposure in an environment that is warm and where mentors are always approachable.

Duties include:
- Assisting the tax manager
- Getting exposure to full client portfolios
- Tax compliance
- Revenue tax
- Dealing with tax enquiries
Salary: €25,000

What you'll need to succeed
As a trainee, ideally you would have graduated recently or be in your final year of college and interested in pursuing a career in Tax. Qualifying with a degree in Law and Taxation or Business and Taxation would be seen as the most ideal background. This company would also be open to working with individuals who have experience in Accounts who are looking to pursue a career in Tax.
What you'll get in return
This role will be fully office based to give the candidate the best training opportunity. As this is a trainee role, the candidate will be fully supported in their CTA exams (Chartered tax advisor). This will include full contribution and time off for study (2-3 weeks). Office hours are 9:30 to 5:30 pm. This company prioritises a healthy work-life balance and will not be asking the trainee to work overtime.
