Maintenance techncian required for market leading manufacturer in Bray.

Your new role

They are seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team.

Whilst reporting to the Maintenance and Engineer Manager, you will be responsible for maintenance, in compliance with GMP, on a range of systems, equipment, facilities and infrastructure.

  • Engineering owner for equipment and systems assigned, responsible for effective maintenance of systems, equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
  • Proactively monitor these systems and equipment at a frequency that maximises capacity to maintain the equipment and to detect malfunction prior to failure.
  • Complete all maintenance tasks in compliance with SOP's.
  • Co-ordinate external contractors providing facilities services including but not limited to waste, Pest Control, Cleaning Services, Gowning Services, Effluent systems, Security, Fire, Facilities Maintenance including grounds and buildings.
  • Provide technical input and support to engineering and other projects.
  • Technical Support for qualification of new equipment and systems in co-operation with validation.
  • All work to be carried out in compliance with relevant Health and Safety requirements, in particular as it relates to planning, carrying out and managing tasks.
  • Preparation and compliance with the requirements of Risk Assessments and other health and safety requirements.
  • Able to work overtime in order to maintain the maintenance schedule and abnormal work activities as and when may be required.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant Trade certification - Fitter, Electrician, Refrigeration
  • Proven period of experience that can demonstrate adequate competency in the relevant industry environment.
  • Refrigeration experience
  • Experience in the Medical Device field, not essential, however, is a major advantage.
  • Exposure to CMMS would be an advantage.
