Your new company

Our client is a commercial property Plc with a portfolio of investment property and development land in Ireland and the UK. Based in the city centre, they are now looking for a newly qualified accountant to join their team.

Your new role

The role will report to the Senior Management Accountant, and you will assist them in preparing the monthly management accounts. Duties will include:

• Preparation and posting of sales and tenant recharge invoices
• Preparation of the weekly aged debtors list
• Liaison with property managers on quarterly accruals
• Investigation of any mismatches on intercompany matrix
• Administration of banking – setting up payees, payments etc
• Posting cash received and payments made
• Preparation of weekly cash report and bank reconciliation
• Monthly payroll run including posting to accounting system
• Preparation of pay-related tax returns for Ireland and UK
• Preparation of Irish, UK and Jersey VAT returns, RCT and other returns
• Assistance as part of the Finance team on ad hoc projects
• Provision of support to the property team in financial analysis on projects as necessary

What you'll need to succeed

• You will be newly qualified from a Big Four or practice background.
• If you are a finalist, you may also be considered if you come from a practice background.
• Be independent and have proven ability to meet deadlines.
