Quality & Safety specialist required for market leading Irish feed supplier

To successfully manage, monitor and evaluate the Quality System and Procedures across the business
- To provide technical expertise and agri-sector knowledge and support for the Operational and Trading Teams
- Maintaining and promoting feed safety, quality and integrity standards across all the business
- To identify and highlight compliance and non-compliance with Legal and Customer requirements, especially feed safety and integrity.
- Effective internal and external management of feed safety issues, through to conclusion.
- Working along with the Operations and Trading Teams to identify root cause, corrective actions and to ensure continuous improvement, building effective working relationships based on subject matter expertise.
- Maintaining and developing sections of the quality management system in line with our business and customer requirements
- Responsibility for internal and external audits
- Liaising with suppliers, shippers and other external or internal contacts to manage and organise the quality sampling process.
- Participation and/or leadership on strategic business teams, e.g., ERP / Sustainability

- Effective internal and external management of feed safety issues, through to conclusion.
- 3 years of experience, providing quality assurance in a food or feed processing environment. (which should include mid-mgt or specialist level experience, providing internal expertise and external stakeholder engagement with relevant bodies)
- Relevant Professional Development, such as GAFTA, HACCP or ISO accreditation training would be an advantage.
3rd Level qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g. Food/Agri (Or Substantial and directly relevant experience in feed safety at a mid-senior Level, typically more than 5 years) Relevant Professional Development, such as GAFTA, HACCP or ISO accreditation training would be an advantage.
A salary ranging from €40,000 to €45,000 plus a whole range of benefits including annual salary review,
