Diverse management accounting role for a Qualified Accountant with strong interpersonal skills
Leading Irish organisation with a national remit require an Accountant to join their busy finance team
A diverse and interesting role. Reporting to the Head of Finance working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for month-end accounts preparation, annual budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring financial policies and procedures are implemented for various business units
Key Tasks will include
- Producing monthly financial reports to help manage the business unit finances
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Ensuring costs are allocated correctly to the various business units
- Stock valuation
- Implementation of value for money projects
- Provision of financial support and advice to Business Managers
- Stakeholder management
Ideally, you will be a Qualified Accountant with good accounts preparation and analysis experience. You will need to have strong inter-personal/stakeholder management skills, be a confident communicator and enjoy working with non-finance people; be curious and have a good head for figures
Salary €55K – €60K
