Senior Financial Accountant - Dublin 7 - Property Industry - €85k plus benefits

Your new company

My client is a Commercial Property PLC with a portfolio of development land investment property in both Ireland and the UK. Their head office is centrally located in the city centre with access to public transport.

Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties will be focused on preparing the group annual reporting, as well as, when required, helping out with all aspects of the day-to-day accounts. Duties include:

  • Responsible for all aspects of preparation of the annual report
  • Preparation of consolidation workings including tax
  • Liaison with audit team
  • Preparation of all subsidiary statutory accounts
  • Liaison with company secretarial team as necessary
  • Involvement in budget preparation and planning
  • Ad hoc projects as they arise

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will be a qualified accountant with a Big Four background.
  • You will have 2–5 years PQE in industry in a similar role or in Big Four
  • You will have strong technical knowledge and experience preparing financial statements and group reports, ideally for a PLC.
  • Have the ability to work autonomously and run with a task yourself.
