Engineering manager required for a market-leading beverages company based in Dublin

Your new company

They are recruiting an engineering manager to join a large manufacturing site in Dublin.

Your new role
Reporting to the account manager, you will provide strategic leadership to the site & contract to deliver significant business growth and proactively develop and maintain the client relationships at site. This role will involve implementing and maintaining business improvement, process standardisation and improvement in all areas.
Your duties will include :
  • Leading, developing, managing and motivating a high performing team to the agreed standards, ensuring that the client receives services of the highest quality and be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of services.
  • This will involve ensuring all legislative and Company required health and safety policies, processes and records are adhered to and monitored and the escalation of any non-compliance or weakness in procedures to Line Manager and EHS support function as well as creating and reviewing permits to work, GMP permits, risk assessments, method statements, near misses and other associated EHS documents.
  • Financial budgeting and performance will also be involved in this role. You will carry out reviews of the site’s finances at the end of each period and implement new practices as required with the delivery of Capex forecasting using analysis on end of life and condition reports.
  • You will be involved in continuous improvement projects on site and identify and make recommendations to contribute to the continuous operational improvement of the IFM team.
  • People management is another aspect of this role. You will do this by providing support to team leaders to ensure work is carried out and managing staff issues such as attendance and by driving employee engagement on site.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Engineering or Technical qualifications desirable.
  • Proven experience of managing large sites with multidisciplined teams and exceptional client relationship management skills.
  • Food and beverage experience or relevant FMCG experience.
  • Proven experience of managing P&L accounts more than €1.5m.
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment.
  • Challenges the status-quo, innovative, willingness and with a ‘can do & improve’ attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, Clients and employees at all levels.

A salary ranging from €70,000 to €80,000 (DOE), a whole range of health care benefits and an annual bonus of up to 10%.
