Trade qualified plant fitter required for engineering contractor in south Dublin.

Your new role
- Servicing and maintaining heavy plant machinery such as diggers, dumper trucks, cranes, etc.
- Conducting regular inspections and tests on the machines and their components
- Repairing or replacing faulty or damaged parts using hand and power tools
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues and finding solutions
- Working on-site or in a workshop, following safety protocols and guidelines
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals
- Collaborating with other team members and communicating with clients or supplier
What you'll need to succeed
- A construction plant trade or MAMF trade qualification.
- 5 + years relevant experience.
- A full driving licence
- A relevant college course or apprenticeship in plant mechanics, engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of engineering science, maths, and technology
- Ability to use, repair, and maintain machines and tools
- Ability to work well with your hands and under pressure
What you'll get in return
A salary ranging from €50,000 to €60,000 (DOE) plus a whole range of benefits including :
