Analytical Equipment Qualification Specialist

Here in Hays, we have a great opportunity for an Analytical Equipment Qualification Specialist to join our client within Scientific Services in their Product Lab,Environmental Monitoring Lab,and Water Laboratory.

Our client is a leading contract laboratory services provider specialised in testing and research services in the environmental, pharmaceutical, and biopharmaceutical sciences to world-renowned clients worldwide.

Your new role

The purpose of this job is to serve as a member of the team within the client's environment to support their technical and analytical support tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.


  • Coordinate equipment qualification processes, including writing and progressing associated Change Controls. Appropriately document all equipment management tasks in accordance with site procedures and ensure accurate records management.
  • Coordinate and assist with the introduction of new equipment to the lab and the retirement of old equipment as required.
  • Assist with Change Controls and document updates related to equipment management & lab support activities as needed.
  • Coordinating & responding to ad-hoc requests for information and/or assistance
  • Organise and assist as necessary with vendor or internal equipment calibrations.


What you'll need to succeed

Qualifications

  • A third level qualification in a scientific discipline
  • At least 3 years GMP experience in a laboratory or e-system support environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of and direct experience with laboratory e-systems (E.g. Empower 3) a distinct advantage.
  • Change control (especially utilising Trackwise) and equipment qualification experience are preferred.
