Debt Recovery Banking Customer Service Official - Leopardstown, Co. Dublin.

Your new company
One of Ireland’s largest financial companies with over 200 locations Nationwide who provide a diverse range of services to banking, financial and related services, are currently seeking a customer service/call centre representative to work within a busy team located in Leopardstown, Co Dublin. The office itself is easily accessed via multiple public transport routes. This role is fully onsite for the training period.

Your new role
The Debt Recovery Unit has responsibility for managing a high volume of debt collection activities for retail personal and business customers. The role includes a high level of interaction with customers, bank staff, third party agencies and advisors.
You will receive extensive training when you start with several other individuals. This is focused training allowing you to learn about the bank’s services, the bespoke IT systems and, of course, how to handle calls.
This positions would be suitable for individuals who would be interested in beginning a career in Finance.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have excellent customer service skills with previous experience within a busy customer-focused environment.
Skills required include the following:
· Good telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills. Understands the need to provide the highest quality customer service, delivers to customers' expectations and acts with total integrity.
· Background/experience in dealing with customers is essential.
· Team player, contributes fully, shares information, ideas and opinions.
· The ability to follow set procedures, follows a systematic approach to prioritising and delivery.
· Target focused and ability to work to deadlines, maintains a clear focus on agreed goals to achieve expected results.
· Focused on seeking resolutions, presenting options and achieving closure.
· Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
· Flexible, can multitask.
· Motivated, shows initiative.
· Self-disciplined and organised.
· Professional, positive, confident demeanour.
· PC skills, in particular, Word, Excel, Email and keyboard skills.
QFA or APA in Consumer Credit would be an advantage but not essential.
Experience in the financial industry is beneficial but not essential.
